DE-CLUTTER IN 2015 AND GAIN EMOTIONAL HEALTH

The year 2014 sucked to say the least. My external environment is only an example of what has happened internally. I am surrounded with clutter, things forgotten and things ignored. My mind is as cluttered as my environment.

I may not be able to control all that happens to me in the upcoming year, but I can and will tackle an area week by week. Hopefully I will feel a little more in control as each pile of clutter is chipped away.

Lets begin our new journey.

How ironic, I am closing out  2014 with the flu. A Christmas Eve present.

Being sick during the Holidays only has compounded the mess. Ornaments scattered by cats. Torn pieces of wrapping paper all over the floor. To show you how bad 2014 was... I had 2013’s Christmas wrapping paper out that was never put away.

Saturday, 27 December 2014's Goal

  • Pick-up Christmas trash.
  • Remove from house. "Trash, trash as far as the eye can see"
  • Find my kitchen counter tops. Ok...maybe one or two counter tops. Not all four and side tables. I am a girl who has limits, you know.

One hour, one counter top de-clutter and wiped down. That is not very encouraging. I'm glad that I am giving myself a year for the total picture to be completed. I have to remember this did not happen over night and it cannot be cured in one day.

To 2015!!
